A great new watering hole

So there’s this bright new spot on the blogospheric horizon, where (dare i say it) an eclectic bunch of literary and intellectual types hang out on their tea breaks, sharing with the rest of us their, mostly, profound thots on life, the universal truth, and everything (more or less) in between.

The online magazine is edited by amateur artist and professional blogmeister Raza Rumi of Jahane Rumi fame and is called Pak Tea House. Its mandate is to “endeavour to revive the culture of debate, pluralism and tolerance,” with “no pretensions nor illusions but the motivation of a few people who want to see Pakistan a better place - where ideas need to counter the forces of commercialism, adverse effects of globalisation and extremism,” which “translate into action that leads us to an equitable, just and healthy society.”

Now there’s a lofty ideal which could do with a whole lot more elevation. Do visit Pak Tea House and partake of the wide selection of de-lectable, mouth-watering de-lites on de-splay.

Now that sounds like a novel idea and a noble enterprise...or something like that...

you got the idea, siddhusaab-ji !

zo, combining the NO-VELL idea and the NO-BILL ant-prize, perhaps it should be nominated for zomething like the NOBEL PRIZE (allowing for a wee bit of the ol’ noblesse oblige, no doubt!)
