She can't be annoyed
by my cute boyish charm
the way that she poutingly
makes out to be. Not really.
I'll bet it's a show
of girlish know-how
of which I'm convinced
she know's not too much

Perhaps if we both
canned this sophisticate
and let down our hair
we'd stand a good chance
of wowing each other
with our powder keg powers
of volcanic passion

Or maybe we'd figure
it's too much damn bother
and bugger off down separate paths
